We are pleased to introduce the latest addition to the Cheshire Scientific fleet, a brand new fully electric van. This van has already joined our existing temperature-controlled vehicles in the daily collection of samples across the country.

With zero exhaust emissions, this is a practical step in reducing our environmental impact. Electric vehicles produce no direct emissions during operation, which means that every journey we make using the new van contributes to cleaner air and a lower carbon footprint compared to the van it has replaced.

We're also pleased to offer on-site charging facilities at our premises, available for staff to charge their own electric vehicles. It's something we hope makes a difference for our team, and reflects the same thinking that led us to invest in the new van.

Our vehicles are very much the visible face of the business out on the road. Transitioning part of our fleet to electric is a natural progression and one we are proud of.

The new van will be used on sample collection routes, and continue to maintain the high standards of service our customers rely on. As with all our vehicles, samples will continue to be transported under appropriate temperature-controlled conditions to ensure the integrity of every sample we handle.
