Welcome to Cheshire Scientific Ltd., a UKAS accredited microbiological and chemical analysis testing laboratory for whom no client is either too large or too small. Services
We offer an extensive range of microbiological analysis, including Legionella, TVC, Coliform/E. coli and Pseudomonas. Sample types include water, feeds, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and environmental samples. Chemical analysis includes a comprehensive range of parameters for both water hygiene and water treatment, including those for closed water systems.
We also conduct disinfectant efficacy testing to European Standards, principally BS EN 1276, 1499, 1500 and 13697.
All testing is undertaken by qualified staff.
Our UKAS accredited laboratory is operated 7 days a week and is available for sample delivery 6 days per week.

Our bespoke operating and reporting system, Reportal, allows 24/7 client access to their own account and is accessed via the client portal on our website. There are considerable benefits to using the system:
Real-time Access: You can view on-going jobs and sample statuses directly from our live laboratory management system.
On-demand Results: You can request interim certificates where part of a test suite has been completed and partial results are available.
Comprehensive Overview: You can view and download all of your samples and reports on an on-going basis, helping you answer any questions you may have just by logging-in.
Enhanced Account Management: Easily search for all of your jobs, manage your chosen trigger values, update reporting contacts and review your test suites.
We have built the Reportal system with the primary focus of meeting clients’ needs and providing traceability. If you have a specific query (i.e. how many Legionella samples have we sent to you in the past 18 months?) please contact us directly and we will be able to provide the required information.
We really do believe the facility to manage accounts via the live portal makes the control of testing considerably more convenient for our clients.

Please be reminded that the price we quote is the price you pay – there are no hidden extras!
Unlike many labs we do not quote a cheap test price to then impose a minimum invoice value/sample value/test value which can see the cost per sample increase massively. Likewise, we do not charge extra for issuing certificates or for bespoke certification, nor do we charge a sample disposal fee on tested items. The price you see is the price you pay!
This allows you to set your prices with confidence that you will pay only what we have quoted you for the testing.
